Let Stars Sing Without the Moon
We were born in different cosmogonies
The galaxy defines a barrier
Where you are singing in colors
While I’m watching you in a black or white movie
Dust and particles are everywhere around here
They must have blinded my eyes
Covering my conscience
That’s when you decided to save me
You offered colors
You tried to clean up
But how could the blind tell a difference between things they can’t feel?
And how could the moon still be a moon without its origin from debris?
Stars are meant to be singing together
As you already are bound up with each other
The moon is meant to be observing in solitude
As it already is too late to escape from my fate
Yet the melodies you sing
And the beats you make together
Are emitting beams of love
On a frequency that is out of my touch
The moon restraints its magnetic field
As it is turning around in jealousy
Outside the chorus
And it knows what dissonance it could cause to be in
The rules of priority heal and hurt
I’m the one who receives the pain
And I have to
So that the balance can be maintained for your continuous luminance
Let the stars sing
Let the moon perish
I’ll satellite
Over the signals left unheard
